The National Gallery of Canada is the large glass building with two octagonal towers at the corner of St. Patrick Street and Sussex Drive. We are located within walking distance of ByWard Market, Château Laurier and Parliament Hill.

If you are coming from Québec, we are across from Gatineau at the Alexandra Bridge or less than a minute drive south from where Autoroute 5 South crosses into Ottawa. Otherwise we are a 10 minute drive North from the Metcalfe exit of highway 417.

Public transportation:

OC Transpo(Ottawa)

The following OC Transpo buses will take you to the National Gallery of Canada:

Route 9: Disembark at the Sussex Drive and Bruyère Street bus stop, walk one block south-east to the Gallery.
Route 1: Disembark at the Dalhousie Street and St. Patrick Street bus stop, walk two blocks south-west to the Gallery.

Many OC Transpo buses stop at Rideau Centre / Mackenzie King Bridge which is a 10 minute walk north-west to the Gallery.

The following STO buses will take you to the National Gallery of Canada:

27[a] / 35[ab] / 21[ab] / 33[a] / 31[a]: Disembark at MURRAY/MACKENZIE sud, directly in front of the Gallery.
